Gregory (my second shooter) and I had the honor of photographing the first family event ever to be held at Jacuzzi Family Vineyards. Christopher’s great-grandfather, Gelindo Jacuzzi, immigrated to the Bay Area from Italy and, with his brothers, started Jacuzzi Brothers, Inc. in Berkeley, where they produced airplanes and airplane propellers, water pumps, jet boat engine components, and whirlpool baths, among other things. The Grandson of Gelinda’s brother, Fred Cline, is the owner of Jazuzzi Family Vineyards and Cline Cellars. Chris’s father is currently CEO of Jacuzzi Family Vineyards. So, Christopher & Alissa’s wedding was an especially important event at these two venues.
We began shooting at the Sonoma Mission Inn where Alissa was getting ready (and where Christopher had earlier proposed to Alissa), and then we headed to Cline Cellars for the ceremony and Jacuzzi Family Vineyards for the reception. The two wineries are located across the street from each other in the Carnerous region of Sonoma.
